HTC One M9 goes official

HTC One M9 is the official name of the next One flagship series from HTC. The device made numerous appearances in leaked renders and promo videos. 

Design

HTC One M9 comes with refined design with less part count, dual anodization, and scratch-resistant coating and sapphire glass on the camera lens. The BoomSound speakers have been retained for one more term and it now comes with Dolby audio surround. While it looks a lot like the One (M8), the new One M9 design is more minimalistic and the smartphone is lighter and smaller. It has a single-part front bezel, new placement for the Power/Lock key, an improved volume rocker.

Camera

The HTC One M9 also features a bigger camera sensor and there’s a dual-LED flash, doing away with the Duo camera and its faux-effects. The Ultrapixel camera has been moved to the front this time, to let you take better selfies in low light conditions.

Screen

 HTC’s latest flagship smartphone sports a 5-inch Super LCD3 display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and accounts to a pixel density of 441ppi. While the panel’s size remains similar to what the M8 featured, the screen-to-body ratio has gotten a lot better in M9. There’s a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protecting  the display from scratches and minor sniffs

Hardware

The One M9 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 -combination of an octa-core 64-bit processor with four Cortex-A57 cores at 2.0GHz and four Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5GHz. The new Adreno 430 handles the graphics, while the 3GB RAM will help with the multi-tasking. Connectivity includes LTE Cat.6 or Cat.9 with support for 21 LTE bands, wired and wireless TV-out, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and Wi-Fi ac.and 32 exp memory.

Colors

The One M9 will be available in new paintjobs - there is a Silver model with Rose Gold accent (on the frame), Gun Metal Gray, completely Gold version and Pink model with Gold accent on the frame.
